Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders. Routes items to departments and personnel as needed. Visually examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent to draw and interpret bar graphs.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to speak effectively before customers or other employees.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
